Emerald Facility Services takes a close and personal interest in, and considers and respects, the physical, economic and social environments in all cleaning services in which it is involved.
It aims to contribute towards environmental improvement and sustainable development by using the best practice and innovation to minimize environmental impacts. Emerald recognises that good management includes all environmental matters and will ensure that environmental protection and the prevention of pollution are part of all decisions, policies and practices.
The Company operates an Environmental Management System that fully satisfies the requirements of ISO 14001:2004. An environmental action plan seeking continual improvement is produced on an annual basis setting out specific objectives, targets and implementation steps, with progress routinely monitored, reviewed and reported.
This policy covers the varying activities of the business operations in Ireland, to ensure that the company:
Complies with all legal requirements, which are regarded as a minimum standard in any operational location.
Complies with relevant environmental legislation, regulation and industry codes of practice.
